Birth Month Reviews Posted or Updated on 10 Jul 2024

You may have received a text message from the surgery inviting you to a birth month review.  This is for a review of any long term condition you may have that requires regular monitoring such as Diabeties, Asthma, COPD or Hypertension (high blood pressure) or repeat prescriptions. These reviews used to be done in a specified month but we have changed the review timings so that you can now book this in the month of your birth.  We wrote to patients two years ago to tell them about this change.  Hopefully this will help patients remember when to book and enable those with more than one condition to have it all done at one consultation.  Many of these consultations can be done by telephone and we have availability now. Don't worry if you have missed your birth month, you can still book review now.
